Overview

Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf was founded durring the early 17th century in late fall of the year 1615, by Giant Flash Beetles. The establishment of Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Giant Flash Beetles struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf as a prison colony.

Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf is buildings are located arround a single restrictive packed earth mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Unfortuantly, these political statment focused walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Kīivu-glodág Xluwuf makes it abundantly clear the city suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.
